Stephen F. Mandel Jr. is the founder of hedge fund Lone Pine Capital.[2] Prior to founding Lone Pine Capital, he worked at Tiger Management.[3] Mandel was a consumer-retail analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the 1980s. [4] He worked at Mars & Co as a senior consultant in the early 1980s.[5]
He is a 1978 graduate of Dartmouth College.[2] He is chairman of Dartmouth's board of trustees.[6] He also serves on the National Board of Directors at Teach for America.[7]
